Ready for Halloween!

Today we got our Halloween costumes in order. After much drama with the yellow dye, we present.....the Man with the Yellow Hat!
He's more "the Man +/- the Yellow Hat."
And the fierce Peter Pan!
Watch out pirates!
We don't even try to get them to look at the camera anymore. What's the point, really?

Stony Creek 2010

This weekend we made it to Stony Creek Farms to pick out a pumpkin.
Wes of course needed to ride the pumpkin train.
And we stopped to get a boys pic.
Evan did NOT like the hay.
Here we are on the tractor to the pumpkin patch!
Wes with a top contender.
Evan said, "what about this one?"
Wes thought this one was toooooooo heavy.
And we ended the day with another pumpkin train ride!

Still here!

A Boy and His Trains...Take 2

Evan has become very obsessed with the Thomas table. Like Wes, like Evan I guess.

Very Lazy Sunday

All the boys asleep...what could be better?

Hi Great-Grandma Waldier!

The Fishies

Lately, our zoo visits have been dominated by the Oceans exhibit. Evan loves the fish!
And Wes loves to pet the sharks! This makes Mommy VERY NERVOUS!

The Best!

The day of the Drake Family Picnic also happened to be Eleni's (29th) birthday. Check out these amazing rainbows we saw that day! The biggest and brightest ones ever!

Drake Family Picnic!

We were very excited to see a lot of our family at the Drake Family Picnic! The weather didn't exactly cooperate, but we had lots of fun with our aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, cousins, etc.

Go Daddy Go!

Many of you know that Scott has been in training for a 100-mile bike ride for Team in Training to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The bike ride is TOMORROW! Grandma Sandee made this awesome banner for him. We are so proud of Daddy and all of his fundraising. Thank you so much to everyone who donated! Good luck Daddy!!!!

Buzz Lightyear Party!

Today was Wes's 3rd birthday party. Of course, the morning started out with Mommy decorating some cakes!

The Brothers Drake were rockin' their Buzz tees, looking quite handsome.

Wes and his cakes and a devilish grin.

Buzz made an appearance (balloon form only).

There was some sort of child caucus around the train table. No adults allowed.

Wes was very intense with his present-opening. Every one was met with an "ooooooooo." He got a lot of awesome stuff. Thanks everybody!

Then it was time for singing and cake. However, Mommy sort of forgot about the whole "blowing out the candles" thing, so searched the drawers and only came up with 1 measly candle. Never fear, we just lit the thing and let him blow it out 3 times!

And he actually did it! Way to go Wes!

The Happy Drake Family. Thanks so much to everyone!
