Oh Christmas Tree!

Last weekend, we decided to start a new family tradition....cutting down our Christmas tree! We've been getting real ones for a few years now, but had never actually been to a tree farm. We decided to leave Evan at home with Grandma and Grandpa Drake because it was a little cold.

We found it!
Then Daddy had to cut it down (Wes supervised).

And we got to ride on a tractor! This was Wes' favorite part.

When we got back to the barn, Santa was there! Wes was not that impressed. We're hoping he'll warm up to him someday.

And then we took the tree home! It is much larger in our house than it was on the farm! Decorated pictures coming soon!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! Here's Wes watching the parade. Buzz Lightyear, to the rescue!

Our friends Jeremy and Bob fighting over the wishbone.

Evan and Daddy watching some football.

Grandma Sandee helping clean up. We were so happy to have everyone you see here, plus Grandma and Grandpa Drake and Grandpa Tom. We're so thankful for all of you!

Big boy!

We tried out the high chair with Evan, and he seemed to like it. Now bring on the baby food!

Whose is this?

So, Evan grew out of the 0-6 month sleep sacks. When we brought out the next size, 6-12 months, they were huge!!!! Wes insisted that they were his, and he made us put it on him. Here's the silly bozo!

Go Dawgs!

We're slightly worried Evan will get mistaken for the Bulldogs coach Brad Stevens.

Hiya!

Cozy Coupe!

Wes and Evan became the proud owners of a Cozy Coupe. And Wes even helped put it together, with the help of his Handy Manny tools!

Happy Halloween!
