Yesterday we went to Day out with Thomas in Connersville. Wes is a big fan, and couldn't wait to see the REAL THING. 
As expected, he seemed very shocked the first time he saw him!
But he wasn't that impressed with the actual train ride (it's not exactly scenic).
We couldn't get an actual picture of Wesley in front of Thomas, because he couldn't keep his eyes off of him. These are my favorite back-of-the-head shots.
You might know that when we were pregnant with Wes, we went on a 7-night Hawaiian cruise. This time around, we went to the not-as-tropical Louisville, KY. It was the first time we ever left Wes overnight, and he did great with Grandma Sandee! Here's Scott telling George Rogers Clark that the river is "that way."
We stayed at 21C, which is an art museum inside of a hotel. It was pretty funky, but really nice. Here's us being part of the art!
Wes has been doing a lot of things lately that have shown us how big he is getting. He can now take his own shoes off and put them away (better than us!), plus he can climb onto any chair in the house. Here, he decided to wear Daddy's shoes then do some internet surfing.
